Taking a breather...

Remember that time that I thought I would be a good blogger and post a few times a week, maybe even every other day...Haha!

Seriously, my life has been super busy. It's 7:45 in the morning and this is the best time I've found to blog. But I don't have long, I'm just taking a little breather from the chaos to tell you I'm still alive.

I will probably forget to blog about any of these events but since I last posted here are a few random things that have happened or will happen in the Brock household...

Halloween: Brad and I dressed up as Day & Night. We pulled our costumes together in about 15 minutes (that includes a trip to Target) and we only spent about $14 total. It was probably the corniest thing we've ever done, but the kids at the Fall Festival loved it. And it's all about the kids.

On the job front: Still working for the same company (bead store) but I got a promotion. Yay! This also means I'm working more hours though. Boo!

B's Health: B & I realized that we have not gone for longer than two weeks this entire year without one of us having to go to some kind of doctor. B is currently still going for post-op checkups for his wound every other week. It is still not healed. AND the doctor says if he isn't seeing anymore healing soon, then he's sending us back to the hospital for a little more attention. Please, pretty please, can you pray my man heals soon! This last visit wouldn't be too serious. However, if we do have to go, it will cost more $$$, and it would be the fourth tally of our hospital visits this year. My nerves and my sanity would like that number to stay at three.

My health: Nothing. Absolutely nothing to report. Nothing good, anyway.

A Positive note: My little jewelry business is thriving! My mom and I just had a booth at the Seminary Craft and Bake Sale, and rocked it! My husband is dreaming big for me, and I am getting lots of orders. So I'm busy! I will be adding more stuff, slowly but surely up to my Etsy site. I'm hoping to add more stuff tonight. Check it daily for updates!

And for fun: A video of Brad and Layla (our neighbor's daughter) playing with a laser pointer. Samuel, Layla's daddy is holding the laser pointer. Brad and Samuel didn't even practice what they were going to do...
