Tweetin'

I am putting my foot down and publicly denying myself the right to join Twitter. Let me clarify myself from the beginning. I have nothing against Twitter, or anyone who Twitters (or Tweets...whatever you call it), more power to you if you do have it. I am just having to draw some personal limits for myself, and I am doing it for the whole world (really I mean our small circle of bloggers) to see.

Why? do you ask? Well, let me tell you.

If you haven't noticed, I'm not that great at bloggin'. This is my second post in two days (gasp!) but its a rarity. And Facebook, oh that's even worse! It usually takes me weeks to reply when someone writes on my wall. I've added maybe 2 pictures to my profile, and all the others are pictures where people have tagged me.

If you aren't technologically savvy and have no clue what I'm talking about, then you can stop reading. I'm going to keep convincing myself that this is the best choice for me, myself, and I.

You see, I really want to join Twitter.

The number one reason being, I just want to be cool like the rest of you.
But there are other reasons too. There are times that I just think the world needs to know "I finally washed the dishes, you can see our counter now."
Or, "I wore my cowboy boots today, and I was cooler than you."

I could even use it as a warning for other people, or at least my husband.

"A little hormonal today. Don't ask. Don't touch. Just don't talk."

Then there is my sister. Who Tweets, Blogs, and Facebooks.
She does it all, and makes it all sound A. maz. ing! She can make cleaning the stove, almost cutting your thumb off, and cupcakes sound like the most glorious things!

Whew, I don't see how she does it. I'm going to fight my urge to give in. I'm going to blog when my heart so desires, and continue lurking on Facebook and stalking friends I barely knew in high school.

Here are a few funny cartoons I found about Twitter.

If you have Twitter, or if your name is Jaime, hope I didn't offend you. I've got nothing but love for you people.
